Best praise vs top criticism for Lenovo Slim 9i
“I would not recommend a Lenovo. I have a Lenovo Slim Pro 9i that is 10 months old. 9 months in the miniLED panel started getting pink tinted patches and stripes all over. Lenovo's customer service and warranty repair process, at least in the US is just horrible. 4 repairs, 3 failed repairs, 2 on-site repairs by Hemmersbach (their 3rd party contractor), and 2 depot repairs by CSAT Solutions in Houston (their 3rd party contractor). They lost the unencrypted factory SSD in the machine on the 3rd repair (shipped back laptop without any SSD). After that I couldn't get a straight answer out of them regarding the SSD, and I suspect all responses were screened by their legal team. 3 weeks of no laptop to use, the repair depot tried to charge me both times, and I only just had some closure recently with the whole ordeal (not because Lenovo, but because I ran software based forensics on the wiped drive and I'm somewhat sure they sent me the same drive back with my laptop during the 4th repair).”
