I had a new plate and switches for my KBD8X MKIII that had been sitting for a while, so I took the opportunity to do a full refresh. - KBD8X MKIII in Violent Violet - Durock V2 in Atomic Purple (holee modded) - Dreamland Tactiles (hand lubed) - GMK CYL ZX I had other ABS keycaps, but I found them too "soft". I thought I really liked the feel of PBT because of the texture. Oh my was I wrong, this ABS is so textured and pleasant to touch that it makes me smile just thinking about it. And the R0-R5 profile is really nice. It reminds me of MT3 but without the need to be as disciplined about home row since it doesn't feel like your fingers are getting sucked into each key. It's just perfect for me.”
