Best praise vs top criticism for Ironmaster Super Bench
“I looked at all the REP and ROUGE benches but I went with the Ironmaster Superbench PRO 2.0 and am sure for me I made the right decision. My Garage Gym is tight. I needed a shorter bench that did not take up so much space and I like how light and maneuverable the Ironmaster is. If I had a dedicated buiding or hundreds of square feet I'd definitely get one of the REP benches but they are very heavy and VERY long and I'm only 5'10". For my needs the Ironmaster was just perfect. It is as stable as bigger benches, its height is perfect, and it's a great adjustable bench as well as a flat bench and I love how light it is.”
“I'm a little unsure. By my standards, the bench is very robust and well made. The same applies to the attachments I currently own. I like the adjustment mechanism and the lack of a gap when flat. The only negative is the seat. Especially when doing incline bench presses at 30°, it is relatively uncomfortable. I am currently planning to pad the backside of it to improve this. In the beginning, I chose this bench because I intended to add the lat tower down the line. If I were to decide again, I would probably go for a bench from ATX, mainly because of the better leg attachment. Maybe I'll build myself an adapter to use it with the superbench.”
