It's considered by many to be one of the worst shoes from Hoka in recent years and I really regret buying them. I don't have any other carbon racers though, but I have tried on some, which had a much nicer feel, going by their very brief first impression. I have several other Hoka shoes that I've been super happy with (Cliftons, speedgoat, torrent) but the X3 was a miss for me.”
