“I think the gatekeeping in this thread is really weird. Yes people use them as lifestyle shoes, but especially lately Hoka have really nailed a lot of their running shoes. It doesn't really matter if nurses wear them, they're still very very good shoes for running, at least a good bit of the current models. I adore my Mach 6 and Clifton 9s.”

What I will say versus the Mach 6 is, significantly better outsole. My first run in the Mach 6 was 26KMs out the box in torrential rain (not the best idea). It was fine on tarmac, but having to move onto grass / dirt was lethal. This seems much better.”
