Best praise vs top criticism for Guava Family Lotus Travel Crib
“A pack n play is pretty easy to pack in the car, and if you’re going to be there a lot, it makes sense to me. I probably wouldn’t bother with a bassinet, as you can put a newborn in a regular pack n play if you want to, and the regular one will be good for years. Even if a visit is only a few hours, that might be nap time or maybe they’ll babysit for you eventually, even a year down the road you would still want a pack n play for those naps. You could keep one there if you don’t want to pack it up every time. Also, at least near me, you can get the basic Graco one barely used on FB Marketplace for less than $20, and they’re often $50 at Walmart new. So you can also just wait on this decision until it comes up. You don’t need a fancier one than the basic Graco imo. We have the Guava Lotus but that’s because we needed one as a carry on for several flights. For a short car ride I’d go with the basic one.”
“My mom got me a cheaper pack and play vs. the Guava Lotus, which was the bougiest thing on our registry and I was really excited about it. I was afraid she got bait and switched on Amazon so asked her which brand she got. Luckily it wasn't a scam - she just did it wrong. Not sure how she managed that 🤪 but she returned it and got the right thing, luckily with no fuss. ”
