Best praise vs top criticism for Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) 51mm
Best Praise
+2 pts“12inch wrist - 30cm - wow that is very large. You are going to really struggle as even 51mm case size watches are unlikely to have a strap that extends out to that length. What you coudl do is pick up a Garmin Epix 2 pro 51mm or any of the Fenix x series (i.e. all garmins with a 51mm case size) or the garmin instinct 2x as they all run the 26mm quickfit strap system. And then you could buy garmin's silicon dive bands: [https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/895757/pn/010-12907-00#devices](https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/895757/pn/010-12907-00#devices) as the include an extra long strap which offers: Extra long silicone band: 135-355 mm. 51mm shouldn't look too small on your wrist and you have enough circumfrance on the strap. All these garmins offer sleep tracking, ability to set alarms to wake up (beep, vibrate or both), you can add the hydration widget so can set up reminders to drink. Eat - alarm, notification from watch, or timer or use the hydration reminder if same schedule. Your watch when connected to your phone can show the next upcoming events - does about next 10 events or up to 5 days (which ever limit is hit first) - as long as connected to phone these will auto update. Widget when expanded will show agenda view i.e. time (13:00 - 14:00), appointment title (drinks with Andre) and note/address (if too long these wills scroll). Clicking into the event will show all detail. You cannot go click on address etc to launch navigation etc - its purely informational. Will mirror all notifications that your phone shows (android per what is in notification bar - can restrict which apps are mirrored to watch / iphone per what shows on lock screen - only options are all or nothing or texts & calls). If on android you can use quick reply options to most messages.”
