+14 pts“I'm not getting one ever. Don't get me wrong, I'd love a repairable laptop with swappable parts. But spec for spec, you can get a laptop for 1/3 the cost from an existing manufacturer. 1/2 the cost for a BEASTLY laptop that will run circles around the framework. Costco.com has a Lenovo that goes on sale for $1300. 16 inch, 32gb ram, tb SSD, 4060 or 4070 graphics card I forget. HP has that same thing but with a marginally worse (but still excellent display) for $1050 on sale. Framework has simply too much overhead. Marginally Kore expensive, sure. 3x the cost? Lol, no.”
