+42 pts“Mobile Friendly: **Eureka Specialita** **Looks** \- Classic Styling. The chrome is bright, and looks super sharp with any E61 Machine. Looks better with the hopper full of delicious beans. All the color options are a big plus. **Initial Set Up**\-Easy out of the box set up. Initial dial in was very difficult. went through a ton of beans. The dial means nothing, so very confusing at first to figure out where to go. **Dialing in Beans** \- Because you need to set both the timer and the grind setting, it takes a bit more work. The time and grind level counteract each other, so it is a bit of a dance to get to 20g out at the right fineness. I really don't recommend switching back and forth between beans. It might take 5+ doses to get it perfect. Once you get it dialed in for a bean, let that one roll until you finish the pack. **Daily Espresso Work Flow** \-This is where the Specialita shines. If you have a favorite bean, and you can dial it in, it is just so simple. Bring the portafilter to the stand, and poke the start button with the PF. By moving it around slightly, you can make sure the grinds are distributed evenly. Give it a pause or two by pushing the PF and give it a tap on the mat to settle the grounds. Less scales and weighing to deal with first thing in the morning, and really easy when making lots of drinks back to back for friends/family. **Using as a brew coffee grinder** \- 0/10 NEVER **Grind Quality**\- Excellent. Very fluffy, even, and no static. **Taste**\-Delicious - I honestly can't taste the difference between the grinders once the beans are dialed in to the same output. **Overall Impression**s- Great daily espresso driver, especially if you have one bean that you really like/go through a whole pack at once. Much better for 3+ shots a day, and a simpler work flow. **Niche Zero** **Look -**More modern look. The black matches a lot of my set up, wish it came in Mat finish. Wood feet are a nice touch. **Initial Set Up** Simple set up. Watched a quick youtube video on how to calibrate it, and now my beans are generally in the 12-15 range. **Dialing in Beans** \-This is really where the Niche Zero shines. By weighing your beans beforehand, and with no retention to worry about, its quite simple to figure out where your setting needs to be. Can usually get to 40g out/25-30sec within 1-3 shots. This makes it perfect for using lots of different types of beans. I usually have 3-4 types of coffee in the house, so when I am switching between beans, this is great. After I've dialed a bean in, I'll note the Niche # on the label for quick reference (ex. Stumptown - 12.4). **Daily Espresso Work Flow** \- A bit more work to pre-weigh the beans. After they are ground, the little container works great, but need to WDT/distribute a bit more than with the Specialita. For others besides myself who try to make espresso at my house, the Niche is much more work, and a bit more intimidating. **Using as a brew coffee grinde**r -Works pretty well actually. I have an Encore that i generally use for brew grinding, but swapping back a forth with the Niche isn't too bad. **Grind Quality** Very good. The only issue I have is the static generated. A quick spritz of water solves the issue, but sometimes makes the beans stick to the sides of the funnel, requiring a bit more tinkering. Taste-Delicious - I honestly can't taste the difference between the grinders once the beans are dialed in to the same output. **Overall Impressions** More versatile grinder for lots of types and styles of beans and brew methods. Single dosing is more exact, but more involved work flow that's not for everyone/early mornings.”

+7 pts“I have the same machine paired with the Eureka Mignon Specialita and the pressure is always within espresso range, so I would say that is not normal and the grinder is to blame. Great machine though and you'll love it once you provide it with an adequate mate. Eureka also has their manuale and Silenzio which are both cheaper options. They can all be had on espressocoffeeshop.com for less than you can buy in the US. Just ignore the USA option and go with 110v.”
