Did you hear any shouting - maybe someone who is drunk would ramble and mumble words. That could be an indicator if the person is drunk or not. If you’re able to, buy a doorbell camera. The one I use is from Eufy and does not have a subscription like others. It can be run with batteries or wire directly in place of an existing doorbell. Consider leaving any outside lights on overnight. If you’re comfortable with neighbors maybe try asking them if they’ve experienced this or heard this loud banging in the middle of the night.”
