+2 pts“The laptops are both good. I would recommend the XPS 13 plus as the 'U' series processor means it is ultra-low power. While it means the battery will be good, it will sacrifice on performance. So I would personally recommend the 13 plus as it has a way better keyboard and haptic touchpad. It also has a better processor than the base 13. The battery is around the same if not less by 1 hour. The framework is good but I think the 13 plus may be cheaper. Also as you are primarily going to use this machine for programming, you will not need an ultra high performance machine. The 13 (either base or plus) might suit your needs better, especially because of the price of the framework and also if portability is crucial like having the laptop on your lap (laptop). The XPS 13s are great portable machines just consider the 13 plus. Also for programming the keyboard might be comfier to use compared to the one on the base machine.”
