It is somewhat special in that it has a rear-facing tether ("q tether") which helps reduce movement in all types of collisions. The only other seat I could find with that feature was the Clek, which I was also considering until I saw lots of reviews saying the fabric is difficult/impossible to remove and it's not machine washable.”
