“Look on consumer reports. They rent a crash test safety facility worth several million dollars to run more rigorous testing than the US government. They are passionate about allowing people access to their safety info, so it’s all free. Clek liing was the safest option for 2025. It’s the one we purchased because of the rigid latch system, which is not available on any other car seat in the US market. Additionally we wanted a car seat with fewer chemicals, which this addressed. I’m not sure what 2026 looks like. Consumer reports lists other models that rated very highly across price ranges. I wouldn’t recommend watching the crash safety videos. That was not a good idea for me while pregnant. 😵‍💫”
