Top Criticism

“I think it’s just because of the crazy jump. Like imagine a new Orient dropping tomorrow but it costs $20k and has a grand Seiko spring drive in it. The question would be, why buy a $20k orient when you can spend that $20k on a brand that has a reputation for watches that cost that much? Or another example being Christopher Ward getting backlash from the twelve x and twelve loco prices being 2-5 times their most popular models and their niche was. Imagine them coming out with a full gold twelve that was $40k? Just doesn’t make sense to buy that from them when they have not made their name or slowly worked towards that price point, it would be a massive jump all at once with no proven track record of being able to execute in that range.”
