“I ran in Brooks for years (ghost, glycerin, launch, & more) before discovering better quality midsoles. I’ve since moved away from Brooks entirely—except for the Hyperion tempo. It’s still in my rotation. I use it for tempo workouts and intervals on the track. It’s no nonsense, light weight, responsive and does not try to compete with my natural cadence and stride. For folks wanting a do-it-all shoe at all, this would be a terrible choice. But for those who understand that it’s a low-stack minimal cushion speed workout shoe, for $65 it’s an absolute no brainer.”
