Plus, the aluminum version comes with three different plates, so you can choose the one that works best for you. It's unbeatable value for money.”
“I got a Karve Overlander in brass. Do you want to know what I got after that? Another Karve Overlander in brass (will remain unused). I tried the Blackbird Lite Ti - it’s good but the Overlander is noticeably smoother with a very minor reduction in efficiency given no blade feel (minimal blade exposure and small gap). I just risk a bit of burn with the Blackbird and for the price not worth it. Overlander is simply the smoothest DE I’ve ever used. Tried and don’t really like Henson razors. I don’t think any of them ever achieve the perfect blend of smoothness and efficiency combined to be worth it. My Overlander can deal with any blade and I never get nicks, weepers, or cuts. I typically pair with GSB or Nacets.”
