+2 pts“I have one of the made-in-China models, MMX 100 and I think it's built well in my opinion. I've read that the new DT270 are also decent. I think they'll always be around, there's a certain coolness factor to how they look and the bright sound can be enjoyable especially by newcomers to the hobby. My German-made DT990 had a failure of the plastic sliders that held the metal yokes, which made them too painful to wear without coming up with some ad-hoc foam / sponge pads to protect my temples. Also had 1 driver fail. Not the best experience.”
