Best praise vs top criticism for Atreyu Daily Trainer
“Doesn’t look too bad. People often expect the Pegasus to be like the Superblast or the Endorphin Speed, or some soft 4 mm drop easy run shoe, even though the whole identity of the shoe is to be a “boring” high-drop daily trainer that suits many types of runners. The biggest area for improvement is the weight — in my opinion it could be 20–30 g lighter. However, I don’t expect the Pegasus to ever be some extra-bouncy super shoe, but rather exactly the kind of shoe that doesn’t give too much assistance to the runner, and instead helps develop the runner’s own strength. One of the best things about the Pegasus is that they work well both for running and for casual wear – a great travel shoe. And you can often find them at 40% off, at least the older models.”
“I'm not going to buy these shoes at this point. I would have gladly added a pair and probably more if they ended up working well for me. But this game that adidas is playing is getting annoying. Release a shoe or don't. A 6 month wait with 100 color way sneak peaks for a daily trainer is dumb. I’m over it.”
