At first I thought the AP3s would be difficult to get used to because of the unusual base but you get used to it quick and they feel pretty great to run in with good energy return. No issues with the arch area at all. In Japan, I was able to get the black AF2s for 30% off (the Ekiden colorway was pretty sick but wasn't on discount). The arch is annoying but it bothers me less as its been getting broken in. But man, they feel almost effortless to run in. It's fun running through the different neighborhoods of Osaka in them.”
