“A lot of pressures in the $80-$150 are going to require upgrades (hose, gun with a swivel and/or gun upgrades, foam cannon, quick connects, etc) anyways. What is nice about this unit is the relatively high GPM at 1.8, safe psi of 1200 and it comes with a stubby gun out of the box. Most other competitors in this price range have a lower GPM, 1.1-1.5 or high psi and come with a standard gun you would find at a coin-operated car wash. You generally want the best blend of water flow with enough, but not too much pressure for safe, effective washes. In my opinion \~1100-1600 psi and 1.5-2.0GPM are the ideals. Some more expensive standard examples: Active 2.0 1800 psi / 2.0 GPM Active 2.3 1100 psi / 2.3 GPM AR Blue Clean ar630 1600 psi / 2.3 GPM Kranzle K1122 1400 psi / 2.1 GPM Mind you these are $350-$1300 units and you may/may not still have to get upgrades for quality of life. So yes, the Ryobi is a great bargain, but you can still do a great job with $50-90 pressure washer units because you're still going to want upgrades”
