Best praise vs top criticism for Apple AirPods (3rd generation)
“(Posting here as I got no response in the advice sub lol) Hey everyone, so I am looking for something to replace my Gen 3 Airpods. People keep saying that these are ass for the price and there are better things, so I thought I'd ask. These are mainly going to be for everyday use, as I use them when I work in the office at my desk all day. Also, I am working with an iPhone 15 (Pro Max) if that matters. * Budget - I mean I'd like to stay under 350 if possible. * Source - Bluetooth. (My phone) * Requirements for Isolation - Isolation would be nice, I would be using them all over, nowhere specifically. But mostly at home or in the office, and the office is pretty quiet, small company. * Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes * Preferred Type of Headphone - IEM's I think? If that's what AirPods are then yes I want similar. * Preferred tonal balance - An overall balance is fine, although I do listen to a lot of phonk so if it had some bass that would be cool. * Past headphones - Rn I have these Gen 3's and for the gym, I use Crusher Anc 2's and I love them, they are super punchy and I can really feel the music. They don't have to be super loud to really feel the music, and I love that. * Preferred Music - Honestly so much shit. Between Hyperpop, rap, glitchcore, throwback, EDM, phonk, etc. Basically everything except country. * What would you like to improve on from your set-up - Nothing specific, just more bang for my buck I guess. I do like an app and having some controls, that would be cool, but if they are nice as is then I don't need an app, just a nice feature. If there is anything I didn't answer, let me know.
