+1 ptsโI know this is an old thread but wanted to add my comments as I'm having a very similar issue with a pair of Anker Life P2i earbuds and can't find what type of material the rubber or silicone material that fits in your ear is. Like OP, whenever I wear them, my ears start excreting clear liquid, so much that when I sleep at night it can literally seal off my ear and make a squishing sound (sorry gross I know) and then it hardens and crystalizes similar to OP. Sometimes it even seems to invoke sores that start to bleed as well. For context, I have older Apple airpod pros and I never have this issue with them. And I know it has nothing to do with duration. I can literally wear them for 15 to 30 minutes and then have this issue for the next day or so, but goes away as soon as stop wearing them. I've even tried treating my ears with oil to help avoid this to no avail. So with that said I suppose what I'm really looking for here is does anyone know what material Anker uses for their earbuds and likewise with airpods so I can be sure to avoid whatever Anker makes theirs out of.โ
