Best praise vs top criticism for Anker Nebula Capsule 3
“I've had the Anker Nebula Capsule 3 for about 9 months and it's genuinely the best portable projector I've used in this price range. Paid around $420. Is it a 4K mini projector? No, it's 1080p. But honestly coming from watching on a TV, the picture quality on a 100 screen is impressive enough. Colors are decent, brightness is solid for evening viewing. The portability is real - I literally carry it room to room and take it camping. Built-in Android TV is clutch, battery lasts about 2.5 hours (enough for most movies). For $400-500, this is probably the best portable projector balance of quality, features, and actual portability. If you NEED 4K, you're looking at spending double. My take: get a great 1080p now, upgrade to 4K mini projector in 2-3 years when prices drop. The tech is still expensive and evolving.”
“Anker Nebula Capsule 3 = 300 lumens per Amazon. Pathetically dim. Anker Nebula Cosmos = 2200 lumens (more than sufficient) but $1450 on Amazon as of this writing.”
