This is basically a mini CR box that does an excellent job on particulate matter in the air. Blueair makes a number of nice units if you’re okay with the ionizer. With their sale prices, they offer a combination of high performance with well tuned noise and efficiency. Clean Air Kits offer great particulate filter options for people seeking low sound levels, decent performance, and cheap maintenance costs. Winix and Coway make feature rich air purifiers that are mostly reliable and well designed, they also include carbon filters for VOCs. Levoit makes nice air purifiers at certain price points. The Vital 200S is under $200 and offers decent performance and energy efficiency.”
