+4 pts“If you find that one grind size on your grinder is too coarse, and the next finer step is too fine, then you are running into the large step size of the K-Max. You can work around that by varying the dose. You can go to the step that is too fine and reduce the dose, or go to the step that is too coarse and (if there is room in the basket) increase the dose. When changing the dose in this way, proportionally change the yield to keep the ratio constant. Or else get a grinder with finer grained adjustments like a J-Max. If something else is going on, we need more details on your dial in process and exactly what is failing to give you better advice.”
