If you’re mainly washing your own cars at home as a weekend warrior, I think the Active 2.0 hits a really nice middle ground. The Ryobi units are solid too — especially considering they cost about half as much — but the Active 2.0 gives you better flow (around 1.8 GPM working flow) and smoother operation. I went through the same dilemma when setting up my detailing corner a few months ago, and ended up going with the Active 2.0. I’ve been really happy with it so far. For home use, I wouldn’t stress too much about repairability. A typical car wash probably uses your pressure washer for maybe 15–20 minutes total. Even if you wash weekly, that’s barely 15 hours a year — well within the 200-hour lifespan Active advertises. At that pace, it should last you for many years. Also, there’s a difference between serviceability and repairability. The Active 2.0 is repairable if something goes wrong — pumps and seals are replaceable — it’s just not as modular as a Kranzle or AR Blue commercial unit. Just keep in mind that the washer is only part of the equation. You’ll likely spend just as much on accessories like: • quick-connect fittings and nozzles • a better hose (the stock one is meh) • a short gun setup • and maybe a wall-mount or reel setup if you want convenience For context, I upgraded from a Sun Joe, and the Active 2.0 has been a huge step up in smoothness and water flow without going crazy on price. That said, I get the temptation every time I see the new Active 2.3 or AR Blue . But honestly, since I only do full pressure washes maybe twice a month (I use rinseless the rest of the time), the 2.0 makes the most sense for me. If I had to do it all over again, I’d still stick with the Active 2.0 — it’s strong enough, reliable, and doesn’t leave me wishing I’d gone “just one model higher.”

I have one and it's an amazing little tool for blowing off the garage floor, work bench, tools or dry leaves off of a small patio but it sux for car drying and the batteries die pretty quick. Still for 45 bucks it's a great little blower. I have a Ryobi cordless 40v 160mph blower that does a great job drying cars but it's almost 300 bucks.

So many... My first really agonizing purchase was a Sears 10" compound miter saw in 1986 when removating my first house. I still have it but don't need anymore. My Makita drill and driver two battery cordless set. Every new Makita cordless tool has been expensive and worth it. Sawzall, 14" chain saw, Hedge trimmer. I mulled over all of them for months and sometimes years before I pulled the trigger. Also my Husqvarna backpack leaf blower. I bought the less expensive BT180 model and it was so bad I returned it and spent like $200 more on the BT360. Totally worth it! Got the Ryobi cordless PEX crimper with illumintation when I replumbed a house. I would never use a hand crimper again.
